Clinical Supervision
Registered Clinical Mental Health Counseling Interns are required to complete many hours of clinical supervision by a Florida Board approved supervisor. This supervision can be achieved individually or in a group setting. Ms. Carlson provides both types of supervision.
Individual Supervision
Ms. Carlson conducts individual supervision for those Registered Interns working in several different settings. Focus is on managing the treatment of adult and child clients with a variety of diagnoses. Additionally, we discuss eithics, challenging clients, theoretical orientations, and self-care issues. Fees are $55/session. Supervisees may attend on a weekly basis or a bi-weekly basis as determined by clinical case load. Please email or call the office to schedule and initial supervision session.
Group Supervision
Conducted on a bi-weekly basis, this group supports Registered Interns with generating treatment ideas, differential diagnosis, business building, case load management, and burn-out prevention. Fees are $35/group session. (We are currently forming a second supervision group. Please contact the office if you are interested in participating.)
Consultation
Ms. Carlson has experience in forming a private practice in two different states (MI and FL). Her road to success was much like many practitioners trying get started in the business. She offers consultation sessions to professionals seeking to establish or maintain a successful private practice. Consultation fees are $85 per one hour session. |
